The amount of hatred I see that is going around.. The amount of hatred I see that is going around.. How can we make the world a better place? A more peaceful place? How can we still do what we think is right while standing in love and compassion and not hatred and division? It seems like a long way, but for what I know, is that we must be able to take a breath and once we have taken time to feel and sit with the emotions, take a step back and be able to look at both sides, as hard as it is. Conversations, words exchange is good - it doesn’t have to mean you support only one side. We’re often being led to believe there are two sides, even thought it’s usually a lot more complex than that. Looking at ‘the other side’ doesn’t mean you’re failing your side - it means the complete opposite. And please, please before you feel the rage when reading this because of course it brings out a lot of darkness, just hear me out for a sec.. and also try to notice your dialogue. How can we have a clear approach when we cannot even step away from our ego for a second to truly try and look at what’s happening through the lens of logic instead of emotion? Which don’t get me wrong, I completely understood how hard it is. How can we have actual, intelligent conversations instead of hearing the same sentences over and over again used in social media, excusing absolute war crimes and opening the door to an even bigger hatred? How can we condemn someone’s opinions without actually taking a moment to hear ‘that side’ out, and trying to see where they are coming from? Please take a moment to step away from standing so much on your side and just take a moment to remember : We are all people. Remember that freedom of speech is being censored for a reason. And HOW it’s being censored, the tactics used. Remember the many times in history (and very recently) we were manipulated to hate. To divide. To support absolute massacres through it.
